Phenol Mak's journey into the wine industry began in 2015 as bar manager at Le Quinze Vins. His passion later led him from bar manager to restaurant sommelier when he became a Certified Sommelier from Court of Master Sommelier in 2018. His working experience also includes being the sommelier at the prestigious French restaurant, l’Envol, in the St. Regis Hotel and and Head Sommelier at Spanish restaurant, Andō.

Currently Phenol is working as Head Sommelier of Black Sheep Restaurants where he works alongside Arnaud Bardary MS.
